about.
the material & the maker
We work only with natural materials, allowing every kokedama to breathe, grow, and eventually return to the earth. No plastics. No synthetic fillers. Just soil, moss, fiber, and twine — a quiet reminder that beauty does not need excess.
Our kokedamas are crafted slowly, by hand, honoring the Japanese spirit of wabi-sabi — the poetry of imperfection and the elegance of restraint.
We choose plants thoughtfully: seasonal, resilient, and attuned to the environments they’ll inhabit. Each plant comes with a story, a symbolism, and a purpose — to bring vitality, presence, and ease into the spaces we share.
We believe tending to a plant is a ritual.
Watering becomes care. Growth becomes dialogue. Roots become relationship.
Our work is grounded in holistic ecology — considering not only the object itself, but also the fibers, the sourcing, the lifecycle, and the future. What we make must nourish both the earth and the people who welcome it.
